A short, wet window
Most of LA's rain lands between December and March, exactly when early sunsets already squeeze outdoor practice. Those are the months an indoor bay earns its keep.
Rainy Day Golf
Los Angeles packs almost all of its rain into a few winter weeks, and when it arrives the city's golf shuts down fast: grass ranges turn to standing water, courses go cart-path-only or close, and every covered stall on the Westside fills by mid-morning. An indoor bay does not care. After Framegolf opens, the planned setup keeps the simulator separate from the forecast.
Wet Season
LA golf is built on the assumption that it never rains. For the weeks each winter when that assumption fails, an indoor bay is the only plan that survives contact with the forecast.

Grass ranges close or shrink to mats after real rain, and the Westside's few covered stalls fill the moment the forecast turns.
After opening, members will be able to use a private bay for the same launch-monitor feedback in any weather. Parking is directly in front of Framegolf. Arrival instructions will be shared before your visit.
December to March is when handicaps drift. After opening, the club is designed to give members a consistent indoor practice option through the wet weeks.
Founding member access to soft-launch previews is planned for mid September 2026, by appointment only. The grand opening and public booking are planned for early October 2026, with the exact opening date to be confirmed. Limited public bay bookings are planned around the grand opening, with the start date still to be confirmed. A $750 Founder Pass prepays three months, then $250 per month while continuously active. The founder page shows current availability and terms.
Beyond Rain
Questions
Indoor simulator facilities are the most weatherproof option. Framegolf is planned to open in 2026 at 3375B Robertson Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90034 on the Culver City border, with four private bays and planned member access until midnight. Bay booking is not live yet.
Many close or restrict carts after heavy rain, and grass ranges are usually first to shut. LA's rain concentrates from December through March, so a few storms can wipe out weeks of outdoor practice.
Both, and the practice is real: every swing returns carry, spin, path, and face data from the launch monitor, and the auto-tee keeps the reps coming. Winter on a simulator is an improvement season, not a holding pattern.
The club sits next to the Helms Bakery District, with Downtown Culver City's restaurants and the Culver Steps a few minutes away. After opening, dinner plus a dry, warm round in a private bay will be a possible storm-day plan.
