Before you give
A few things to know.
When does a gifted month start?
When the recipient explicitly activates it in their account. It covers one calendar month of the purchased plan's benefits, then ends automatically. Buying, delivering or opening the gift does not start that month. They complete their account and required waiver before playing.
What if they already have a membership?
They receive the full price you paid as credit toward future personal membership bills. Their plan, discounts and Founder rate stay the same. Any unused value carries forward.
Will they need a card or be charged again?
A gifted month for a new or former member needs no card and has no automatic renewal, even if they have a previously saved card. If they choose to continue afterward, they sign up separately. Gift credit can help pay for a new recurring membership, which they must choose and agree to themselves.
Does the gift expire?
Paid, unused gift value has no expiration date or inactivity fee. An activated month ends one calendar month after it starts. If an email link stops working, contact us for help accessing the retained gift value.
What can membership credit pay for?
New or existing personal membership bills. It does not pay for individual bay bookings, lessons, Founder Pass purchases or organization memberships.
