Venice

Indoor golf simulator near Venice.

Venice already has the Westside's most charming golf course in Penmar, nine holes of small greens and marine layer. What it does not have is anywhere to practice seriously or play at night. Framegolf covers both, fifteen minutes up the boulevard that shares your neighborhood's name.

Why Indoor

Why Venice golfers go indoors.

  • Penmar is the round; Framegolf is the practice. Launch-monitor data and an auto-tee do what nine short holes cannot.
  • June gloom eats Venice mornings for months. Indoor bays make practice a constant.
  • The Venice Blvd bike lane runs almost to the club door for car-free practice sessions.
  • Night owls get bays until midnight, hours no Westside course can offer.

Questions

Venice golfers ask.

Is there an indoor golf simulator near Venice?

Framegolf is the closest members-only simulator club, at 3375 Robertson Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90034 on the Culver City border - about 15 minutes up Venice Blvd from Abbot Kinney.

Should I practice at Penmar or at a simulator?

Both, for different reasons. Penmar gives you real turf, wind, and scoring pressure on nine holes. A simulator gives you every club in the bag, exact carry and spin numbers, and reps in any weather at any hour. They compound each other.

Can I bike to Framegolf from Venice?

Yes - the Venice Blvd bike lanes run from the beach almost to Robertson, then it is two blocks north to the club. Around 30 minutes at a steady pace, with parking for bikes on site.
