Sunkist Park is Culver City's largest residential neighborhood, about 850 homes between Ballona Creek, Sepulveda, and the 405-90 interchange, organized enough to have its own association and its own opinions about cut-through traffic. What it does not have is anywhere to practice golf. Framegolf is about twelve minutes northeast at 3375 Robertson Pl on the city's opposite corner.
Getting Here
From Sunkist Park to first swing.
There are two good ways in. Drivers take Sepulveda across the creek and Culver Blvd through downtown. Cyclists do better: the Ballona Creek bike path runs along the neighborhood's northern edge and ends practically at the club's block, one of the flattest golf commutes in LA.
The route
Take Sepulveda Blvd north across Ballona Creek, turn right on Culver Blvd through downtown, continue onto Washington Blvd east, then left on National Blvd and right on Robertson Pl just before Robertson Blvd.
By transit or bike
The Ballona Creek bike path runs from the neighborhood's edge to Syd Kronenthal Park, a short surface ride from the door. Culver CityBus covers Sepulveda toward downtown.

- A neighborhood of single-family homes still rarely has room for a net, and the nearest ranges are 20-plus minutes. A booked bay is twelve.
- The creek path makes practice a bike ride: flat, carless, and ending with bike parking at the door.
- Bays run until midnight, so practice fits after the kids are down.
