Clarkdale

Indoor golf simulator near Clarkdale.

Clarkdale is the Culver City pocket tucked where the 405 crosses Venice Blvd, a grid of tree-lined streets around Tellefson Park that most of LA drives past without knowing it has a name. It knows its own name, and it is about to get a golf club: Framegolf, about nine minutes east at 3375 Robertson Pl on the city's opposite border.

Why Indoor

Why Clarkdale golfers go indoors.

  • Living beside the 405 means knowing exactly what a trip to a driving range costs in time. The club is nine minutes the other direction on surface streets.
  • A booked private bay with launch-monitor data has no line, no dusk, and no wind off the freeway.
  • Bays run until midnight, which suits a neighborhood where the quiet hours are the good ones.
  • Guest privileges mean the Tellefson Park regulars can settle their trash talk on 1,000+ simulated courses.
